Monica Mattioli
Professional Profile
Monica Mattioli has been associated with St. Bonaventure University as an alumna, instructor, and alumni/advancement professional. Her staff service to St. Bonaventure in advancement and alumni services encompassed board relations, chapter relations, strategic oversight of staff, philanthropic advisement of the Class of 2017, development of alumni leisure travel, certification as Title IX investigator, and interim executive leadership of the division. She has taught marketing and management to employees of U.S. firms in Brazil (2012) and staffed St. Bonaventure University’s pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi (2015). She has also served the University as a member of the National Alumni Association Board. Other academic roles have included Director of Marketing and Recruiting with Roberts Wesleyan College and Associate Dean with SUNY Genesee Community College.
With a particular interest in adult and post-traditional students, she has taught courses in the classroom, online, and hybrid online, including Organizational Behavior, Global Leadership, Leadership in Diversity, Principles of Marketing, Principles of Management. Ms. Mattioli’s corporate experience in the technology sector with Bausch & Lomb, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and BMP America emphasized international sales support, export services, contracts, banking, and logistics. Her nonprofit sector work included regulatory affairs, fund development, and executive management.
Ms. Mattioli’s time has been distributed among residencies in New York, Florida, and North Carolina. She has been recognized as Woman of Influence in Education by the Girl Scouts of Genesee Valley; Community Influencer by the County of Monroe, New York; and Athena Award Finalist by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. Her board service has included Future Business Leaders of New York State, Leadership Rochester, Borinquen Dance Theatre, Rochester Hearing & Speech Center, Livingston County Business Education Alliance, and the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Women’s Council.
