As a professional school counselor, licensed professional counselor and nationally certified counselor, Dr. Pressley Moore has served in a variety of settings, with a diverse array of clients with varying educational and therapeutic needs. Throughout the last 10+ years, the focus of her work has primarily centered on vulnerable and under-served populations. At St. Bonaventure University, she is an assistant professor in the online counseling master’s program.
Dr. Moore has served as a school counselor/field placement supervisor at the secondary school level, as well as served in alternative placements such as an adult education center and public charter school. She has also served as a student affairs professional at both private and public universities.
In addition to her work as a counselor educator, Dr. Moore serves as a clinical practitioner in the private practice setting and frequently partners with key stakeholders to provide relevant, culturally responsive solutions and professional development opportunities.
