Alexis Speck Glennon
Dr. Alexis Speck Glennon is an Assistant Professor in St. Bonaventure University’s Master of Social Work (MSW) program, where she teaches across the clinical and policy curriculum. A licensed clinical social worker, Dr. Speck Glennon brings over 20 years of combined practice, teaching, and leadership experience in higher education and clinical social work settings.
Her scholarship and teaching center on the intersections of digital literacy, ethics, and the future of social work. As a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Social Work Health Futures Fellow, she has contributed nationally recognized work on digital literacy, AI ethics, and foresight practices in social work education and practice. Her publications and presentations explore how emerging technologies can both advance and challenge social justice, equity, and human connection. She has developed innovative, competency-based curricula emphasizing reflective practice, cultural humility, and the biopsychosocial-digital framework.
