Professional Background
Logan Miles teaches practicum courses as an adjunct professor St. Bonaventure University. Logan is a licensed professional counselor in Tennessee and North Carolina, with an SEP advanced study certification from Somatic Experiencing International. She brings mindfulness-based approaches to both her clinical work and counselor education.
Logan has worked with graduate and undergraduate students in various professional roles since 2012. She cares deeply about the development of counselors, and the impact of their counseling education experience, both personally and professionally. Logan facilitates a class environment where counseling students are allowed to be beginners and can find their unique approach to this meaningful work. Counselor education, like counseling, invites students to remain present amidst uncertainty, broaden schemas to hold more dimensional understanding, and explore their embodied experience of the present moment. Logan encourages students to approach this work with curiosity and compassion—and hopefully a little levity at times!
