Professional Background

Dr. Huihui Wang is an associate professor and cybersecurity program director. She joined the faculty of St. Bonaventure University in January 2021. Prior to SBU, she worked at Jacksonville University for more than seven years, after she received her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.

Dr. Wang has been awarded more than $1.8 million in grants from external funding agencies such as the National Science Foundation (NSF), private foundations, and industry as either a PI or Co-PI. She has been granted four patents and has one pending patent.

She has published approximately 100 papers and served as a technical program committee chair/member as well as a reviewer for international conferences and journals. She is an active panelist of NSF, NASA, and the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT). She is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Program Chair (2020-2021) of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Division of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
