Dr. Khaled Amira is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance for the School of Business. Dr. Amira joined St. Bonaventure University after teaching finance at other institutions including Ohio University, Auburn University, Syracuse University, University of Wisconsin, Suffolk University, Catholic University of America, and John Hopkins University.

Aside from academic experience, Dr. Amira has worked as an Account Officer at the Tunis International bank. Currently, he is researching ambiguity and its application to corporate finance and financial markets. He has written many publications, given conference presentations, and received the 1996-1997 Senior Teaching Award for Excellence in Teaching at George Washington University.
