Reed McElfresh
Professional Background
Reed McElfresh is an adjunct professor in the School of Business at St. Bonaventure University. He has taught several courses in analytics at St. Bonaventure including Introduction to Business Analytics and Marketing Analytics for Data-Driven Decision Making. He is currently developing the Capstone Course for the MS in Business Analytics program.
Outside of teaching, McElfresh has a publication on “Using Information Visualization to Generate Student Interest in Business Analytics” and has attended two conferences to present his findings.
He is the Director of Commissions for the Iroquois Group, a network of independent insurance agencies based in Allegany, New York. He previously worked as a business analyst for the Iroquois Group. He is an advisory board member for BonaResponds, a student volunteer group at St. Bonaventure, and a director of Positive Ripples, Inc. a non-profit organization that facilitates microloans, scholarships, and educational opportunities in Haiti, The Bahamas, and Sierra Leone.
