Sam Borden

Professional Background

Sam Borden is an Adjunct Professor within the School of Communication. During his time at St. Bonaventure, he is instructing the course, JMC 606 – The Art of the Interview. Borden brings with him previous experience as a reporter and foreign correspondent for the New York Times, based in Paris, along with his current role as a Global Correspondent for ESPN.

Borden’s accomplishments include winning multiple Emmy Awards as well as the Edward R. Murrow and Gracie awards for storytelling. He has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Emory University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Fairfield University.
