Pouya Ghotbi is a security professional with over 20 years of experience in IT and 10 years focused on security. He has previously worked on the design, architecture, and implementation of complex security systems with Big Four Australian Banks, Telcos, and other tier-one companies. He has substantial experience in various areas of security including but not limited to Software Security, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Network Security, Penetration Testing, Identity and Access Management (idAM), and Privileged Access Management (PAS). He currently works as a Solutions Architect in one of the top global security vendors.
Pouya has a master’s degree in computer science from RMIT University where he was selected as the top CSIT student and became a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. He has various industry certificates from Microsoft, Cisco, Check Point, F5 Networks, FireEye, Splunk, and other security vendors.
Pouya has been a lecturer and head tutor at RMIT University and TAFE Australia and has extensive public speaking and teaching experience in various security courses in the IT industry.
