A generalist business track is also available. Each of the tracks has 4 class options and 2 additional electives needed to complete the MBA degree. The 2 elective courses can be chosen from other track options and will be subject to scheduling availability.

Online MBA Program Delivery

Terms are seven weeks with two terms each semester. Most students complete the online degree requirements in two years. Depending on your academic background you may be able to complete the degree in as few as 20 months.

Online MBA - Job Market Growth of 6%

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, management jobs are expected to grow 6 percent between 2014 and 2024. This means that more than 500,000 jobs will be created. Individuals in a management position earn an average salary of $98,500 per year. An online MBA is one of the most versatile degrees, individuals can go into finance, accounting and marketing. In addition, management positions are available in a variety of fields including education, public relations, health care, sales and more.

Online MBA Program Admissions

GMAT Waiver available to those who qualify

In order to apply for the online MBA program, applicants must have:

  • A completed application and résumé
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Transcripts from all colleges attended
  • No GMAT/GRE required for applicants with a
    • 3.3 GPA or
    • 3.0 GPA with 2 years of relevant work experience (as determined by the program director)

Online MBA Cost and Financial Aid

The online Master of Business Administration is  $733 per credit hour / $30,786 (as low as $21,990 for business majors).

The program is 42 credits for non-business majors and as low as 30 credit hours for business majors .

Foundation Courses (9 credits)

Foundation courses ensure preparation for upper-level courses. Some of these courses for our accredited online MBA program may be waived based on prior schooling and/or work experience.

The Business Core (12 credits)

The business core ensures that you’ll develop an advanced conceptual framework for analyzing and solving business problems.

Graduate Electives (18 credits)

Students complete a total of 6 elective courses (18 credits).  Distinctive tracks require a total of 12 credits of electives to be chosen from the specific track options below, leaving 6 credits of free electives for all students.  The two additional electives can be chosen from the other track course options, and will be subject to scheduling availability. This structure allows students to truly customize their education to set the stage for their ideal career. Up to two courses from the IMC graduate program curriculum may be taken with program director approval.

MBA 649 Capstone (3 credits)

The case-based capstone course provides the student with a practical, normative, and integrated approach to top management decision-making.  In this course, students draw upon previous coursework and apply their knowledge of accounting, finance, marketing, and management to organizational problems, working with colleagues to develop and present solutions.
